Middle School Kindergarten Tutoring

Middle School Kindergarten TutoringA small handful of kindergartners are in the midst of their 'Kitty Hawk Middle School Tutoring' program and want to share their experiences. So far they have had positive feedback from parents, teachers, administrators and other caregivers in the system. Some students have been brought into the middle school by their new mothers. Others moved into the neighborhood with new middle school age family members. The school is at a kindergarten attendance site, so some of the middle schoolers may have felt an emotional tug in coming to the new schools that are so different. You can often spot the differences in a child's school from his or her school. Kids gravitate toward the ones that look like them and are similar to them. It's normal for them to gravitate toward a new school or even the kids from their neighborhood. Sometimes it takes an adjustment period to adjust, but once the child is used to his or her school and it looks the same, he or she will not feel like they are being different.Kitty Hawks has a few things that appeal to many young children. For instance, as I mentioned before, there are many programs for second grade students. Second graders find their classes are much less structured than elementary school. In addition, the homeschooling group has grown in recent years and helps kids to maintain their own schedule. They also bring food, which helps to keep the energy up.Fourth grade is considered the middle school age, yet sometimes it seems that we go back and forth between kindergarten and fourth grade. This is not necessarily because the kindergartners do not understand and do not need support. In some cases, it's simply the personalities of the parents. It's fun for them to go with their kids to their regular kindergarten andkindergarten-aged friends. As time goes on, they hope that one day their kids will enjoy this experience. The kindergarten homeschoolers enjoy the kitty hawks' support when they have questions o r feel uncertain about something. They want someone to listen to them and tell them what they are thinking. This type of support makes it easier for the children to learn and take what they need from what they learn. If they see that their parents are going through it too, they will be able to understand and process the information that comes their way. They may not be able to do that with their friends who just want to hang out with them. They understand that they need their mom and dad's help with their new responsibilities. Many kids feel confident enough in their new school that they have just gotten into middle school. I have yet to meet a child who feels like they are going back to kindergarten. Their parents, grandparents and other family members are all helping them find their own way in a new school.
